Digital Equalizer Program

 Govt. High School Maulibaidwan is one of DE school in Mohali. It came under DE in the year 2010. 

Digital Equalizer (DE) program is Techno-Pedagogy program that is bridging the education and digital divide in India. Under DE teachers & students get training on Computer fundamentals, Pedagogy (Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Multiple Intelligence & Collaborative Learning) and Project based learning approaches. The program is tightly integrated with the school curriculum thereby improving subject matter expertise through the use of technology.

I feel lucky and fortune that DE Program is running in our school. We have been provided four systems under CoE by AIF for exclusive teacher training as a reward for our good performance in DE program. It provides the support to teachers to handle the computer and other technology related works independently. Now some of my school teachers are able to prepare projects, lesson plans as well as results of their classes in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint.

Centre of Excellance (CoE) Lab

COE Lab is a very good initiative by AIF Trust in schools where DE program is being implemented. CoE lab was established in school in year 2011 by AIF. It helps a lot to our teachers and students as well for techno enabled learning.

Technology is a channel through which we get connected to everyone in this world. It makes our work of teaching and learning easy. We can get information about everything from it.

Education nowadays can be imparted with the help of the latest technology as it makes the subject matter more interesting as well as accessible to the learners. The immense response of the students and teachers encourages me to use the technology. As far as administrative work is concerned, the dependencies on one individual become less.

This is a year of power packed emotions and sensational performances. In DE school, write up competition held among students class wise. Best two or three entries selected by School head from their school.

Firstly class wise write up on teacher’s day competition held among students.

After class wise write up competition, two best entries selected by class teacher or jury. Then among those class wise entries, best two and three entries selected by School head.
